The Middle Class Needs HSAs and FSAs

Shared by Chad Wetzel - 1/15/2016

I utilize both the HSA and the FSA to support my family's middle class budget to support our out of pocket expenses. As a family of five we have exposure to typical expenses like Medical, Dental, Vision Co-pays, Co-Insurance and Deductibles as well as monthly Prescriptions. With the insurance market moving toward Individual and Defined Contributions it's critical that consumers continue to have access to tax advantaged Savings Accounts to plan, budget and fund their personal exposures.

Elimination of the plans due to the Cadillac Tax will have a detrimental impact on my family and to many individuals, companies and industries.
